All our pad hire prices INCLUDE a sit start pad. Sit start pads are thin, easily movable pads, which are really useful for that extra bit of coverage or for tricky moves low down!

Bouldering pad rental

    Terms of Pad Rental:

    • To be eligible for hire, customers must be a minimum of a boulder only member at Indy.
    • Customers must present valid photo ID with current proof of address.
    • Anyone using this hire equipment does so at their own risk.
      Indy Climbing Wall accepts no responsibility for how the boulder mats are used or any injuries sustained while using them.
    • Indy Climbing Wall accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of the information contained in the hired guidebook or responsibility for how the guidebook is used.
    • Boulder mats and guidebook must be returned clean, with no damage. Hire items will be inspected on return and we hold the right to retain your deposit if pad or guidebook is excessively dirty or damaged in any way.
    • Rental is charged as per rates above.
    • Rental equipment is for personal, non-commercial use only.
    • Rental equipment may be collected from 9.30am on first day of hire. (On certain occasions pads may be collected on the evening of the day before first day of hire. Contact wall if this would be useful.)
    • Rental equipment must be returned before 10:00pm on return date stated above.
    • If equipment is returned late Indy Climbing Wall will hold £20 from deposit for up to 24hrs late return.
    • If equipment has not been returned 24hrs beyond the return date, and no contact made then the full deposit will be kept, and the police will be notified with your details.
    • No refunds or returns on rental equipment.
    • Deposits refunded upon equipment return.
