Meet the Team

Jon is the owner and manager of Indy. Having managed the wall for longer than most of us have been climbing, and climbing for longer that most of us have been alive he's still as keen as ever, although these days his warmups last longer and his theraband collection gets bigger, with each year that passes. Fav hold set: Axis dark green (when Olly hasn't hidden them)

Ben is Indy through and through. He was coming to the wall as a fresh faced 18 year old and has now come full circle as a part of the team. Although always complaining about an injury, he's a big contributor to the setting at Indy. Ben is most at home on the steep faces, or out looking for new boulders around North Wales. Favourite hold set: Big Blue Core Sausages

Olly is an avid all round climber, adventurous trad climbing comes first, but enjoys everything from snow and ice to plastic indoors. As the tallest staff member Olly is often found on the vert faces, rarely on the steep! Favourite hold set: Axis Dark Green.

Tom has been climbing since 2018 and is predominantly a boulder rat. He’s looking to branch out into more sport and trad to become an all rounded climber, to maximise on what North Wales has to offer. Tom is a lover of big slopers and pinches with Sandstone being his favourite type of rock. Favourite hold type: The Big X-Cults

Imke keeps the guys in check here at Indy. Despite being a trad skeptic on arrival, the wonders of North Wales have worked their magic and now she’s found out enjoying long multipitch days on the sea cliffs and mountain crags whenever she’s not at the wall. Alongside Indy work, Imke is juggling a degree at Bangor Uni, however the temptations of North Wales seem to occupy more of her time...
