Why Are “Happy Shoulders” So Important?

Your shoulder muscles support and stabilise the most flexible joint in your body. They are an crucial part of performance in climbing and in a wide range of sports.

Here at Indy, we regularly chat to folk who have difficulty maintaining strong, healthy, balanced shoulders and people who have injured their shoulders in the past or have tweaks. It can be confusing which exercises would be best to rehab old injuries or to strengthen and protect from the ongoing beating our shoulders take.

If you can relate to these issues at all, or would just like to learn more about your shoulders generally, we have a solution!

Let us Introduce Isi Booker:

Isi works locally as a sports physiotherapist specialising in climbing injuries. As a chartered physiotherapist, specialising in musculoskeletal problems, she’s our shoulder expert!

She’ll be running our upcoming happy shoulders workshop event.
